The Chautauqua Board of County Commissioners met on Monday for its regularly scheduled meeting. As with all meetings, the first item on the agenda was an update of the county's roads and bridges from Mark McCall. He mentioned the good weather last week and how the potential for plenty of rain this week could cause complications in getting work done.

Misti Byers also attended the meeting to give the commission a brief report from the Health Department. Afterwards, the commission had a discussion on an agreement with Sedan Floral for a property tax exemption. Commissioner Parker Massey said there's a difference between performing the inspection and determining compliance. 

The board will meet next week, March 16, at the Chautauqua County courthouse starting at 8:30 am.
