The Montgomery County Commissioners met for their weekly meeting on Monday morning in Independence. They opened the meeting with approval of the agenda, minutes and invoices for the week. Public Works Coordinator Jim Wright made his weekly appearance with a light list on his agenda that included receiving permission to advertise for two upcoming employment opportunities for Road and Bridge. Wright also requested permission to solicit bids for their 2020 Asphalt, Chip and Seal, and oil. Wright provided details regarding reimbursement for a damaged pick up that will be replenished with a new pick up plus he provided details on the 2019 year end report for public Works. (FULL AUDIO)
