Spring arrives March 19th, and with it comes an increased risk for severe weather. Kansas State University Climatologist Mary Knapp says everyone needs to have a severe weather plan.

Knapp also suggests making an emergency kit for your designated storm shelter. The kit should include things such as flashlights, extra batteries, medications, food and water and a weather radio. Stay tuned to KGGF during all severe weather to stay up to date.
