Chautauqua County Commission Meeting for 3-2

It was a quick turnaround for the Chatauqua County Commission, which held its weekly meeting Monday morning. Mark McCall first gave the commission his update on the roads and bridges in the county, and noted the good weather this week will help get more work done. The commission then took care of some department business, with Richard Hambleton, Jeremy Hendren and Misti Byers presenting a plan to make room and prevent overcrowding at the first-floor vault.

Finally, Melissa Terrill of the solid waste department talked before the commission and gave some reports on the total trash fees owed to the county. Terrill suggested a preferred way to allieviate some of the delinquencies. The commission will continue discussion on the issue next week.

The commission will meet once again next Monday at the Chautauqua County Courthouse. The meeting will begin at 8:30 am.
