KBI Missing Childrens' Poster Contest

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation has extended its deadline for submissions to the 2020 Missing Children's Poster Contest. Fifth graders now have until Valentine's Day, February 14, to submit their poster to the KBI.

Submissions from public, private, and home schools are all permitted. Posters must represent the theme, "Bringing Our Missing Children Home." Full rules and the application form can be viewed here.

The Kansas poster winnerwill get to visit the Capitol and meet with Attorney General Derek Schmidt, the KBI Director, and Governor Laura Kelly. The winning poster will represent Kansas in the national contest. If it wins nationally, the student, along with their parents and teacher, will be awarded a trip to Washington, D.C. to participate in the National Missing Children’s Day ceremony.
