The Kansas Department of Health and Environment rescinded a boil order advisory for the city of Cherryvale on Saturday afternoon.

The advisory was originally issued due to loss of pressure in the system which may cause a loss of chlorine residuals and bacterial contamination in the water.

Laboratory samples from the city of Cherryvale indicated there was no contamination and all other conditions that put the system at risk have been resolved.
