Neither the Oklahoma Highway Patrol nor the Kansas Highway Patrol reported working any fatal vehicular crashes on New Year's Eve or New Year's Day. According to the OHP Facebook page, there were no fatalities to report, and the office hoped to work fewer crashes total in 2020.

The Kansas Highway Patrol did work one fatality crash on New Year's Eve, a plane crash near Overland Park that killed two. However, there were no vehicular crashes that could be attributed to DUI or other NYE-related activities.
