Last week, officers with the Chanute Police Department conducted a traffic stop in Chanute.

During the traffic stop, Chanute Police Department K9 was deployed on the vehicle. Subsequently, 28-year old Alana Rae Lyn Snyder of Eureka was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia. 38-year old Justin Daniel Willard of Fredonia was arrested on similar charges including unlawful vehicle registration. They were both transported to the Neosho County Jail without incident.

Upon completion, reports will be forwarded to the Neosho County Attorneys Office for review and consideration of charges being filed.
