On December 20th, Elk County Sheriff Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation.

During the course of the traffic stop, Deputies used a K-9 for a open air sniff around the outside of the vehicle. One person was taken into custody and arrested for felony possession of drug paraphernalia and no proof of insurance.

The case will be turned over to the County Attorney's office for prosecution.
