The Kansas Highway Patrol has released its activity report for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. From 6 p.m. on November 27 through midnight on December 1st, the KHP worked two non-DUI related crashes with five non-DUI related fatalities.

DUI arrests have increased once again, up to 19 this year compared to 16 last year and 12 in 2017. Speeding citations did see a big drop, however, from 1,195 in 2018 to just 874 this year. You can see a full list of data released by the KHP here.
