The Sedan city council met on Wednesday afternoon and discussed whether to replace 87 street signs in Sedan, at a cost of about $100/each, or to accept FFA teacher John Wells’ offer to have his students repaint the street signs that already exist.

Council President Brett Dickens made a motion to have Wells’ class repaint one street sign so the council can see how it turns out. In order to do so, the City will purchase 1 lb of reflective pebbles, 1 sandblaster, and 2 gallons of paint. Council Member Crystal Wade seconded the motion and the motion carried.
