Employees of Coffeyville Resources Refining & Marketing have donated $1,870 to the 1st grade teachers at Community Elementary School. The money will go toward Scholastic books in the hopes that each student would be able to receive a book purchased throughout the year.

The employees shared their memories of getting Scholastic books and rememberd the kids who were not able to do so. Those memories led to the decision to raise the money and make the donation.
