Last winter Triple A Kansas responded to over 26,000 emergency roadside service calls. Public Affairs Manager Shawn Steward says two of the main issues drivers deal with are batteries and tires.

Steward says for your tires make sure they have good tread and they stay inflated.  He says to check tire pressure throughout the winter and to not forget about the spare tire. Other things to check on for the winter include engine, fluids, exhaust, brakes, wipers and lights.
