KGGF has been awarded Best Severe Weather Coverage in Kansas, medium market by the Kansas Association of Broadcasters.  Matt Jordan and Connor Harbit accepted the award on behalf of the station during award ceremonies Monday night at the KAB's Annual Convention in Lawrence.

The KGGF storm team receiving the award included Sam Speck, Garrett Giles and John Leonard as well as Jordan and Harbit.  Receiving second place in the severe weather category were stations in Lawrence and Joplin.  In addition to the severe weather coverage KGGF was awarded an honorable mention for it's website kggfradio.com.
