The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office has made an arrest in connection with a late August burglary case in Scammon.
The investigation into the burglary at Scammon home in late August led Cherokee County Deputies to execute a search warrant at 718 East 5th Street in Scammon on Wednesday night. During the course of the search, numerous items, which had been reported stolen, were recovered.
On Thursday, 28-year old Roy Vanhorn was taken into custody on allegations of residental burglary and theft. He has since posted his $3,500 bond.
Currently, the investigation is still ongoing and Cherokee County Sheriff David Groves says he expects more arrests to be involved with this case.
