Last week Montgomery County Sheriff Deputies on patrol spotted an individual driving a silver SUV in the 600 block of south Maple Street in Coffeyville. The individual was known to have felony arrest warrants. When Deputies attempted to stop the vehicle, the individual fled in the vehicle and then on foot. After a short foot pursuit, the suspect identified as 34 year-old Delwood Sales of Coffeyville crawled under a house in the 500 Block of South Elm Street.  After a short period of time Sales surrendered himself to Deputies without further incident.

Sales was transported to Montgomery County Department of Corrections where he was booked in on the felony warrant as well as felony obstruction, and attempt to flee and elude.
