An art exhibit has opened in the University Gallery in Porter Hall at Pittsburg State University. It will be on display through December 13th. It features the works of Tom Walther, who combines recognizable locations and imagery from history and contemporary society, allowing him to layer both content and periods. He limits the palette to gray scale to fuse the wanderlust of his pictures. Walther is a faculty member at Wright College and City Colleges of Chicago who teaches humanities and photography and has exhibited in Philadelphia and Chicago.
The exhibit is open to the public from 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday.
