Textron Interns Help Cherrvale Museum

The museum in Cherryvale gets a facelift, thanks to the volunteer efforts of Textron Aviation interns and employees. The exterior of the museum was showing some wear. Board Member Carol Staton learned that Textron encourages their summer interns to do a project off-site, to benefit the community. Textron Coordinators Nancy King and Mike Sharp brought eight interns, and four employees to Cherryvale, armed with paintbrushes and rollers. City leaders and business owners were invited to the museum to see the updated exterior.

The Historical Museum of Cherryvale is free and open to the public on Sunday afternoons, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
