The State of Kansas approves the long-planned merger of Sprint and T-Mobile to form the nation’s third-largest telecommunications carrier that will maintain its second headquarters in Overland Park, KS. Attorney General Derek Schmidt says that his team has studied this merger and it's affect on Kansas.

In addition to the U.S. Department of Justice and Kansas, the approval is joined by Ohio, Oklahoma, Nebraska and South Dakota.
