It's a little early to think about Christmas, but The Oak Ridge Boys are already thinking ahead, announcing the release date for a new Christmas album as well as upcoming dates for an accompanying tour. Down Home Christmas is set to release October 25th, and among other stops, the Oaks will be visiting Independence, playing at Memorial Hall on November 30th.

Other dates in the four-state area include several dates at The Mansion Theatre in Branson, Missouri, and other stops in Park City and Manhattan. The album will feature classics such as "Silent Night" and "Amazing Grace" while also debuting new songs written by Nashville songwriters.
