Pfister Park's children's playground has been beautified. On Saturday, volunteers joined with the City of Coffeyville Parks Advisory Board for Clean-Up Day. New mats were installed under swing sets, tables and benches were sealed, and lots of fresh mulch spread on the grounds.

The Lions Club painted the entrance swing at North Park, and the Theta Theta Beta Sigma Phi Sorority planted shrubs and flowers in the former fountain area north of the pool.
