Human skeletal remains that were found in a rural area of Neosho County last August have been identified as those of a missing Chanute woman. The Kansas Bureau of Investigation has identified the remains of Marissa M. Craft. The 39 year old Craft went missing from her mobile home in Chanute in December of 2017 after leaving with 3 men in white, Dodge Pickup truck. Craft’s remains were found by a farmer last August in a field near Ford Road and 50th Road in Neosho County. The investigation into her death is continuing and anyone with any information is urged to contact the Neosho County Sheriff’s Office or the KBI at 1-800-KS-CRIME.
