K-State Extension offices have been previewing their Farmers Market Course held at the Parsons Area Research & Extension Station and now agent Jacob Weber says it’s finally here this weekend. Weber says this course is for any and all farmers market goers. A course discussing regulations on eggs, meat & poultry at the market. Agent Jacob Weber states pre registration has passed but that shouldn't stop you from coming. Weber says they will also be giving our certification on Morel Mushroom Identification. Even if you know what you are looking for Weber states this will give you a certification to safely collect, and sell Morel Mushrooms at the market. The course will start at 9 AM and will go until about 3 in the afternoon. Pre-registration has already passed though Weber states you can still show up at the door for registration at 8:30. He says they will have room for you, just may not have a meal that was provided in the pre-registration process.
