As we find ourselves a couple weeks into the new session, Representative Rich Proehl says his committee the Transportation Task Force is moving in the right direction towards new legislation to fund the road projects around our state. Currently in the process of passing a few bills to build the policy and funding for statewide repairs. Representative Rich Proehl explains if funded the committee would look to complete the T Works Project here in our region as he goes over the 10 year plan. He says their first priority is to complete the T Works Project as he says they hope to have those done in the next 4 to 5 years. Then the committee will begin to lobby other major repairs that are needed in our region. Proehl says it’s his mission to keep the T Works a top priority to keep the trust of the taxpayer and the legislature.
