Individuals considering starting their own businesses, already in business or just looking for new approaches to problem-solving are invited to enroll in the next “Entrepreneurial Mindset” class at Fab Lab ICC. The weekly class will run January 23 through April 10 and will meet each Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Course homework involves viewing an average of one hour of video content weekly and reading a weekly chapter in “Who Owns the Ice House?” featuring the story of successful entrepreneur Clifton Taulbert. Class sessions will include discussion of the video content and visits from area entrepreneurs. The course is open to adults of all ages and is offered for college credit for traditional and as a non-creditcourse for non-traditional students. Facilitator Jim Correll explained the class revolves around eight life lessons: Choice, opportunity, action, knowledge, wealth, brand, community and persistence.
