Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt names new appointments to his senior leadership staff in the attorney general’s office. C.J. Grover has joined the office as public information officer. Jennifer Montgomery, who previously served as public information officer, will transition to a new role as public affairs director. John Milburn will serve as executive officer, assisting in the operations of the office. Denise Coatney will serve as Schmidt’s executive assistant and scheduler. Karla Werth has joined the office as director of administrative operations, where she will also oversee Schmidt’s constituent services.

Schmidt will be sworn in for his third term as attorney general on January 14, when he will become the second-longest serving attorney general in Kansas history.
