Many people are going to make New Year's resolutions for this next year involving money. K-State Research and Extension Specialist in Financial Management Elizabeth Kiss says don't be afraid to make smaller goals instead of one large one.

Kiss says if you have money left at the end of a pay period put it into savings or an emergency fund, add it to your retirement account or make a larger payment on a credit card.
