The Independence Driver's License Office finds a permanent home. They have moved to 404 N 14th St and will open up there on Monday. Division of Vehicles Director David Harper says they’re looking forward to providing a better experience. They are open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:45pm.
The new office comes alongside other improvements to driver’s license services, including an option to skip the office and renew using the iKan app or at iKan.ks.gov. Customers seeking a Real ID will need to visit the office and should use the document checklist to make sure they have everything needed.
