An investigation is underway after human remains are discovered south of Thayer. Neosho County Sheriff James Keath tells KGGF News a farmer found the skeletal remains Sunday evening.

Sheriff Keath says the farmer was cleaning up the area when he made the discovery on the land he is leasing.
