Prison Time For Making Death Threats

 

An Independence man will serve time in prison for making on-line death threats against Queen Neelah and members of the Montgomery County judiciary. Dylan Alexander Smith was sentenced to 15-months for making a criminal threat and intimidation of a witness. He also received 12-months for multiple counts of interfering with the judicial process. Smith made threats against Queen Neelah last October.  He was also accused of amaking social media death threats against  Judge Jeffrey Gettler, County Attorney Larry Markle and Assistant Attorney Lisa Montgomery.

 

Smith has already spent over 200 days in the county jail. That time will be applied to his prison sentence.
