Whether it’s type 1 or type 2 diabetes, everyone is somehow affected by the disease. Barbara Ames from the wildcat extension district says there hosting classes on how to cook correctly while living with diabetes. Those classes start on July 12th, and go to July 19th, august 9th and finally August 16th. Physical activity and nutrition are vital to managing your diabetes as Ames says the class is a great start to learning how to manage your carb and other nutrients intake. All while surrounded by other people who are affected by the disease giving you the opportunity to learn from others who are living with diabetes. Class cost is $25, and registration is due by Thursday July 5th and do it quick as space is limited.
