The cooler temperatures this week are a favor for those at the Montgomery County Judicial Center. County Maintenance Supervisor Jeff Phelps says there has been a failure with half of the compressors that cool the building the houses the court rooms, Sheriff's Office and jail. The compressors from Carrier are en route now, but they're coming from New York. The price tag for the repairs will be close to $50,000.
Phelps says the unit is only 6 years old and shouldn't be having so many issues.
