Birdhouses & Beer? A new take on arts and crafts coming to the Independence Historical Museum this Friday. Lisa Wilson from the Independence Chamber of Commerce explains for 20 dollars you’ll build your birdhouse and enjoy beer. Wilson says the beer will be provided by, the same distributing company who provided the beer tasting for Zoo Brew just a few weeks back. So as you build your Arts & crafts you’ll enjoy some great craft beer. Wilson said it’s from 7 to 9 this Friday at the Independence Historical Museum and you must register by the end of the day by calling 620-331-3515.

Tickets are 20 dollars a piece and must be 21 years old.
