Coffeyville Public Library Summer Reading Start Up

The Coffeyville Public Library always has activities throughout the year. And now that it’s summertime, Director of the Library Katie Hill says June 9th is the start of the summer reading program and explains what it’s all about. If you’re looking to avoid the summer slide and keep all the academic progress you or you’re child has made through the school year you may want to get involved!. All ages are welcome to participate, and Hill says there has been some changes for the kickoff. Instead of a kickoff “party” it’s more come at your own leisure. Between 1 and 4 June 9th, to make it more convenient for working individuals. When signed up for the summer reading program, Hill says you will receive a reading log to keep track of your books. Hill also says there is milestone rewards for the more books you read, and in the end a better chance to have your name selected for the Grand prize.
