Multiple Warrants Served in Montgomery County

 

 

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation, High Risk Warrant Team served two search warrants in Montgomery County yesterday. Assisting with the warrant the Coffeyville Police Department, the Independence Police Department and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. The first search warrant was at 2 p.m. at 412 East 4th St. in Coffeyville. During the search approximately 77 grams of suspected methamphetamine, $1,537, two handguns and miscellaneous use and sale paraphernalia. Haylee Berliew, 28, was arrested on outstanding arrest warrants, from Labette County, Crawford County, and Frontenac Municipal. The second search warrant was executed at 3 p.m. at 513 West Cottonwood St. in Independence. Located during the search was approximately one ounce of marijuana, two handguns, and miscellaneous use and sale paraphernalia.

 

No arrests were made in connection with either case and both will be forwarded for prosecution.
