The Coffeyville Police Department gets the go-ahead to purchase two new patrol units. Chief Kwin Bromley says the department has a replacement plan to keep vehicles updated on a regular basis.  With approval from the city commission, Cheif Bromley plans to purchase a new Dodge Charger Police Interceptor from Quality Motors in Independence.

The department will also buy a used Chevy Tahoe from the Kansas Highway Patrol to be used by the K-9 Officer.
