The Coffeyville Drag Races over at the industrial park wrapped up their spring races a few weekends ago. Brooke Brown from the Coffeyville Chamber says it was a huge success having around 2800 visitors, and that they do something very special with the proceeds. The proceeds are not only distributed to the winners of the races, but they also give money back right to the community. As they look to give out to the emergency services throughout Montgomery County and have already supplied radios to Coffeyville E.M.S from previous years. Kim and Trey Maxon, two organizers of the event wanted to thank everyone who attended. They also say they have not only their fall time races scheduled for September 29th , but something new planned for late July on the 28th and 29th. Bringing more people to our community and businesses, giving the proceeds back to the community and having fun while doing it. Mark your calendars and be apart of the next Coffeyville Drags!
