Fresh produce back in Independece on Saturdays. The Farmers' Market is open in the mornings from 7:30 to 10:30 and located at the corner of Penn and Myrtle. Chamber of Commerce Director Lisa Wilson says it's more than just fruits and vegatables.

Wilson does say to be patient with the the produce growers. She says they may not be able to get all your favorite fruits and vetables out there right away.
