PSU Adding Bike Share Program

Pittsburg State University becomes the second entity in the state of Kansas to offer VeoRide's dockless pay-as-you-ride bike share system to the campus community. The university today unveils 70 Pitt State-branded bicycles — each painted red and emblazoned with the splitface gorilla. Students, faculty, and staff will have the opportunity to try the new bikes for free for the first two weeks, while community members may try them at half off their usual cost.

The program is gaining traction across the United States, as campuses and communities of all sizes embrace bikes that are not only environmentally friendly but also easy to use. Last week, the University of Kansas brought the VeoRide dockless bike share to its campus.
