Love Independence Day is back! Volunteering and random acts of kindness is what happens this Saturday over in Independence. Lisa Wilson of the Independence Chamber of Commerce tells us it’s such an easy and fun way to give back to your community. She says it’s very easy to get busy with life sometimes, but it’s something we need to try and remember to do, is to spread kindness. That is one of the inspirations behind Love Independence Day is to just take one day out of the year to spread kindness and encourage others to pass it on. House painting, flower handouts, donations sites, trash clean up and that giant list goes on. A food drive, flower planting and handouts all over town are also some items you’ll find but it all starts with you. Pass on kindness starting this Saturday for Love Independence Day and remember to exercise those acts everyday.
