AG Hosts National Summit On Elder Abuse

 

The population over age 65 continues to grow as more and more baby boomers retire. With a larger senior population comes more instances of elder abuse. Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt wants to start work now to address that.  This week he's hosting a Presidential Summit on Elder Abuse for the National Association of Attorneys General.

 

The meetings in Manhattan are allowing states to compare notes and look for best practices for combating the abuse.
