A Coffeyville man and his passenger suffer injuries in an Oklahoma car crash. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says speed was a factor in the early morning wreck on U-S 169, just south of the state line. Troopers say 42-year-old Richard Freel was northbound when he lost control of his vehicle on a curve and hit a barrier. He and a 12-year-boy were injured.
Firefighters from Coffeyville and South Coffeyville had to free the boy who was pinned in the wreckage.
The OHP says both were taken to a Tulsa hospital in critical condition.
